Kick International, serves as representative for the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations in the United States, and has been designated as the United States National governing body serving as their representative in the USA. As the National Governing Body, Kick International is responsible for the administration, development and promotion of kickboxing in the United States. Kick International is a non-profit organization and is thus overseen by a Board of Directors. With its headquarters in St. Louis, MO, Kick International sponsors a host of programs -- from developing the sport and its athletes at the local, regional, and national levels, to sponsoring national and international dual competitions and selecting teams for international events, including the Country Invitational’s, and World Championships. Kick International sponsors not only national and international competitions, but also clinics and training camps to help athletes and coaches learn international techniques. Kick International is comprised of Regional Directors, selected to develop geographically important regions. These Regional Directors, along with the coaches, athletes, and officials, form the backbone of Kick International and are the driving force to organize our sport for the betterment of amateur competition in the United States. Kick International all martial arts athlete membership is comprised of both male and female athletes. Kick International athletes compete in several weight classes within the sports we oversee including, but not limited to Aero Kick, Continuous Sparring, Light Contact, Semi Contact, Full Contact Above the Waist Kickboxing, International Kickboxing, Thai boxing, and MMA. Kick International operates on a calendar year basis for operational and financial reporting purposes.
